Ice hockey leagues see major results in Czechia and Slovakia

The fourth round of the Czech Tipsport extraliga and the Slovak Tipsport liga featured several decisive results. In the Czech Republic, HC Oceláři Třinec maintained a perfect record with an 8:2 victory over Vítkovice, led by Libor Hudáček and Filip Pyrochta. Michal Kovařčík also made a successful return to the ice following a concussion, playing with a specialized dark visor. Other notable Czech results included Sparta Praha's 4:1 win in Litvínov, Pardubice's 4:1 victory in Mladá Boleslav, and Kladno securing a point in an overtime loss to Plzeň.

In the Slovak Tipsport liga, Slovan Bratislava took the lead in the standings after HK Nitra defeated league leaders Žilina 3:1. Other Slovakian match results included victories for Dukla Trenčín, HC 32 Liptovský Mikuláš, and HC Košice, while Prešov continues to struggle at the bottom of the table.
