HC Pustertal's Intercable Arena Tops ICEHL Hallencheck

In January 2026 the ICE Hockey League conducted its first "ICEHL Hallencheck", a fan‑survey that rated arena experiences in five areas: infrastructure, ticketing, game‑day entertainment, gastronomy & merchandise, and safety & service. Fans scored each aspect on a scale from 1 (very dissatisfied) to 10 and could add written suggestions.

The Intercable Arena in Bruneck, home of HC Pustertal, received the highest overall rating, finishing first in the Hallencheck. HC Pustertal’s managing director Jochen Schenk praised the result, saying it confirms the club’s daily effort to provide a safe and varied stadium experience. He highlighted the cooperation with the arena operator Bruneck Aktiv, the city of Bruneck, and the many volunteers who help on match days. The club noted that rising attendance reflects growing fan enthusiasm for ice‑hockey in the Pustertal region.
