Jan Rutta joins Sparta Prague from Genève-Servette

Czech hockey defenseman Jan Rutta has signed with Sparta Prague, returning to the Czech Extraliga after playing in Switzerland. The 36-year-old veteran joins the club from Genève-Servette, having requested the transfer for family reasons.

Rutta brings significant experience to the Prague-based team, including two Stanley Cup championships with the Tampa Bay Lightning and a gold medal at the 2024 World Championship.
