HC Thurgau faces domestic and international hockey challenges

HC Thurgau faces significant challenges in both domestic and international hockey competitions. In the Swiss League, Thurgau is set to host the undefeated champion HC Sierre. Sierre has maintained a perfect record with four wins, boasting a highly productive offense that averages over six goals per game. In contrast, Thurgau has secured only three points from four matches and is looking to stabilize its defense following a recent 2:6 loss to La Chaux-de-Fonds.

On the international stage, the Champions Cup draw has paired Swiss teams against top European opponents. The Thurgau men's team will face the Finnish champions, Nokian KrP, in a series that begins with an away match in Finland. Meanwhile, the Zug women's team is scheduled to compete against the Swedish champions, Team Thorengruppen, who have dominated the Swedish championship since 2021.
