HCB Hospitales launches osteoporosis prevention campaign

HCB Hospitales has introduced the ‘HCB Cuida tus huesos’ campaign, a preventive initiative designed to raise awareness about bone health and the detection of osteoporosis. The campaign aims to address the risks of bone density loss, which can lead to increased fracture risk, particularly in individuals over the age of 50.

The initiative provides access to bone densitometry, a diagnostic test that measures mineral content, primarily calcium, to assess bone mass. The campaign includes the densitometry test and a follow-up medical consultation to review results and provide personalized health recommendations. The combined cost for these services is 60 euros.

Available during November and December, the campaign is being held at the HCB Benidorm and HCB Dénia centers. Interested patients can schedule appointments via telephone at their respective centers.
