HCB Südtirol Alperia hosts sixth Südtirol Summer Classic

The sixth edition of the Südtirol Summer Classic by Sparkasse is scheduled to take place on August 29 and 30 at the Sparkasse Arena. Hosted by HCB Südtirol Alperia, the tournament serves as the team's first home game of the new season.

The event features high-level international competition. On Saturday, Red Bull München from Germany will face Lausanne HC from Switzerland, followed by HCB Südtirol Alperia against the French team Brûleurs de Loups de Grenoble. Sunday will feature a third-place match in the afternoon and a grand final in the evening.

HCB captain Luca Frigo noted that the team's preseason preparation has been positive, focusing on group cohesion. While most of the squad is available, Canadian goaltender Louis Domingue will continue his regular preparation separately, and Martin Gamper from HC Meran will serve as a backup.
