HCLTech reports record $3.3 billion in new deal bookings for Q2

HCLTech reported strong financial results for the second quarter of fiscal year 2027, ending September 30, 2026. The company achieved a consolidated net profit of ₹5,132 crore, representing a 21.2% increase year-on-year. Revenue from operations rose 11.5% year-on-year to ₹35,620 crore.

Key performance drivers included record deal bookings totaling $3.3 billion for the quarter, a 27% increase year-on-year, which brought first-half bookings to a historic high. The company also saw significant growth in its advanced AI segment, with AI revenue growing 78% year-on-year in constant currency, reaching an annualized rate of $876 million.

Geographically, India saw the fastest growth at 21.8% year-on-year in constant currency, while the U.S. grew by 3.5%. HCLTech has revised its FY27 revenue growth guidance to a range of 2.5% to 4% in constant currency. Additionally, the company announced a global partnership with Anthropic to accelerate the adoption of agentic AI across various industries.
