Real Betis defender Héctor Bellerín is a doubt for the club’s LaLiga season opener against Real Sociedad following an injury sustained during a preseason friendly against Inter Milan.

During the match in Bari, Bellerín suffered a blow to his right ankle early in the game. Although he attempted to continue playing, the pain persisted, forcing him to be substituted by Ángel Ortiz after approximately ten minutes.

While the club's medical staff is working to get the defender fit in time for Friday's match at La Cartuja, his availability remains uncertain. The injury comes at a critical time for manager Manuel Pellegrini as the team prepares for the 2026/27 campaign.
