Héctor Cabaña Gajardo debuts in crime fiction with new novel

Poet Héctor Cabaña Gajardo has transitioned into crime fiction with the release of his first novel, ‘El Silencio Opaco de la Sangre’, published by Film Noir Editorial. The narrative follows Tácet, a declining journalist investigating a mysterious death in a city center that uncovers a criminal network.

Cabaña aims to use the noir genre to provide a critical look at contemporary social issues, including violence, corruption, and loneliness. The book is currently in its pre-sale phase ahead of a full bookstore release in September.
