Héctor Cúper faces uncertain future at Universitario de Deportes

The future of Argentine coach Héctor Cúper at Universitario de Deportes is facing significant uncertainty following a 4-0 defeat against Deportivo Garcilaso in Cusco. While the club's administration, led by Franco Velazco, initially indicated support for the manager, recent developments suggest his position is now highly precarious.

Sports commentator Diego Rebagliati noted that while Cúper remains the current coach, his continuity may be decided in the coming days. The club's upcoming match against Melgar is viewed as a potentially decisive factor. If the team fails to secure a positive result, a coaching change could become more likely, with Fabián Bustos mentioned as a possible alternative.
