Héctor Miguel García Falcón wins Coahuila local deputy seat for District 06

Héctor Miguel García Falcón, known as “El Gachupín,” was declared the winner of the local deputy election for Coahuila’s District 06 on Sunday, June 7. After the vote count, he thanked the families of the district, emphasized that the victory reflects the collective effort of many citizens, and pledged to represent their voices in the state Congress. He said he will work on strengthening security, fostering economic development, attracting investment and creating jobs, continuing the agenda of Governor Manolo Jiménez Salinas.

Earlier in the day, García Falcón cast his own ballot at a polling station in the primary school “Licenciado Benito Juárez.” He highlighted the peaceful, orderly atmosphere of the election, praised the civic maturity of Coahuila’s residents, and urged respect for the citizens’ decision, stressing that such participation reinforces democratic institutions.
