HD Hyundai Oilbank to provide 50 billion won in subsidies to gas stations
HD Hyundai Oilbank has announced a 50 billion won support package for approximately 2,100 of its affiliated gas stations to alleviate management burdens caused by high oil prices and the implementation of a petroleum price cap.
The support is intended to maintain a stable petroleum product supply chain following market volatility linked to conflict between the US and Iran. The company plans to retroactively provide 30 won per liter for all fuel types subject to the price cap, including regular gasoline, diesel, and indoor kerosene, for sales occurring between March 13, 2026, and June 30, 2026.
By providing these funds, HD Hyundai Oilbank aims to enhance the operational stability of gas stations and align with government policies regarding energy supply chain stabilization and price management.
