HÜDA PAR Deputy calls for rights of February 28 military victims

Şahzade Demir, Deputy Chairman of HÜDA PAR and Gaziantep Deputy, held a press conference at the Turkish Grand National Assembly regarding the rights of military personnel dismissed during the February 28 process.

Accompanied by members of the High Military Council Victims Association (YAŞ-DER), Demir highlighted that the grievances of officers and non-commissioned officers expelled from the Turkish Armed Forces following the 1997 February 28 decisions have not been resolved after 29 years. He called for legal regulations to compensate for damages suffered by personnel dismissed through administrative actions and summary executions prior to 2010, emphasizing that the failure to pay salaries constitutes a severe violation of rights.
