HDBank allocates 2 trillion VND for women-owned enterprises

HDBank has announced a 2 trillion VND fund dedicated to supporting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) owned by women. The program offers preferential interest rates starting from 7.8% per annum for terms up to 3 months and 8.3% per annum for terms between 3 and 6 months.

Eligible businesses include those where women hold at least 51% of charter capital, or at least 20% combined with significant management roles. Individual customers can access a maximum of 5 billion VND under this scheme. The program is scheduled to run until March 31, 2027, or until the fund reaches its target scale.

According to the Vietnam Women's Union, women-led businesses account for approximately 20-24% of all enterprises in the country. This initiative aims to provide necessary working capital to help female entrepreneurs maintain operations and seize business opportunities.
