HDI Seguros and insureMO use generative AI to cut product creation time by 85%

HDI Seguros and the global insurance infrastructure platform insureMO have announced a strategic partnership to apply generative AI agents to the engineering and configuration of insurance products. This implementation aims to reduce the time required for these complex technical processes by approximately 85%.

Unlike typical AI applications focused on customer service, this technology assists product specialists by using natural language requirements to structure specifications, generate necessary APIs, create quotation and issuance screens, perform end-to-end flow testing, and document processes. The goal is to automate mechanical configuration tasks, allowing specialists to focus on risk design and pricing.

The partnership follows a large-scale project where HDI absorbed a life insurance portfolio from Sompo using insureMO’s architecture. This migration involved over 11 million items, including policies, endorsements, claims, and invoices, resulting in 19 commercial products. The project has generated over R$ 500 million in accumulated premiums, with expectations to reach R$ 1 billion in premium volume by 2027.
