Cultural events held in Çekmeköy, Antalya, and Istanbul

Various cultural and musical events have taken place across Turkey. In Çekmeköy, Istanbul, the municipality organized a Black Sea music concert at the Taşdelen Eski Lunapark Alanı featuring artist İsmail Türüt. The event, which included performances by Özcan Fırtına and Alihan Civelek, drew thousands of attendees who participated in traditional horon dances. Çekmeköy Mayor Orhan Çerkez attended the event to express support for community unity.

In Antalya, the Antalya Metropolitan Municipality’s İsmail Baha Sürelsan Conservatory is hosting a Sunset Concert series at the historic Hıdırlık Tower. The second concert in the series featured the Zefir Trio, consisting of Rufina Bahadır, Umut Murat Aytekin, and Necla Kamuş, performing against the backdrop of the Mediterranean Sea. The series aims to integrate historical landmarks into urban life and promote local tourism.

Additionally, a new multi-purpose cultural space named Hikâyeli Mekân 7 has opened in Osmanbey, Istanbul. Founded by Zuhal Gürçimen, Figen Çamlıyurt, and Hatice Ertan, the three-story venue is designed to combine coffee, books, and inspiration through workshops, lectures, and creative activities.
