HeadOnEast festival returns to Osijek in October 2026

The eighth edition of the HeadOnEast festival is scheduled to take place in Osijek from October 2 to 4, 2026. Organized by the Osijek-Baranja County Tourist Board, the three-day event will feature music, light installations, gastronomy, art, and sports across multiple city locations.

Central programming will be held in the Osijek Tvrđa, but the festival is expanding to areas including Kopik, Europska avenija, Franjevačka Street, and Vatroslav Lisinski Square. Musical performances include artists such as Parni valjak, Silente, IDEM, Dora Vestić, and Luzeri.

A highlight of the event is the 'House of Light' program, where Hungarian artists will use light installations like ‘Breathing Walls of Light’ and ‘Light Carpet’ to transform the Baroque architecture of the Tvrđa. The festival will also offer various culinary options, including craft beer, wine, and street food.
