headspace Danmark launches #SlukSammen campaign to reduce screen time

headspace Danmark is organizing the third annual #SlukSammen campaign on Sunday, September 13, encouraging citizens to put away their mobile phones for a full day. The initiative aims to spark dialogue regarding screen habits, presence, and mental well-being.

A survey conducted by Epinion for headspace Danmark revealed that one-third of both young people and parents wish they spent less time on their mobile devices. This year, the campaign focuses on generational differences, emphasizing that excessive screen use is not exclusively a problem for youth.

Trine Hammershøy, director of headspace Danmark, stated that the goal is to move away from the idea that screen use is only a young person's issue. The campaign seeks to foster conversations about healthy digital habits and the impact of technology across all age groups without being judgmental.
