Health authorities in Los Ríos and Atalaya celebrate institutional anniversaries
The SEREMI de Salud de Los Ríos in Chile commemorated its 19th anniversary, recognizing the career achievements of 16 health sector officials. Dr. Felipe Bastidas, the regional health authority, highlighted the commitment of field teams, professionals, technicians, administrative staff, and drivers in protecting the health of the twelve communes through epidemiological surveillance and disease control.
In Peru, the Red Integrada de Salud 3 Atalaya celebrated 23 years of service in the Ucayali region. The institution, which traces its origins to the 2003 decentralization process, was officially named its current designation in April 2025. The anniversary ceremony was led by Executive Director Dr. Juan José Pagán Atencio and included various community activities and recognition of the staff serving the Atalaya Health Center, the Atalaya Micro Network, the Sepahua Micro Network, the Bolognesi Micro Network, the Atalaya Community Mental Health Center, and the Atalaya Intercultural Hospital.
