Health campaigns offer free cancer screenings in Mexico and Argentina

Health initiatives in Mexico and Argentina are providing free diagnostic services to improve the early detection of breast and cervical cancer.

In Tlaxcala, Mexico, the Caravana de Salud has deployed mobile health units to Apizaco and Calpulalpan. Through September 5, women can access free mammograms, colposcopies, and Pap smears. The program, organized by the Tlaxcala Health Secretariat and the State DIF, targets women aged 25 to 69 for various screenings to strengthen preventive care.

In San Juan, Argentina, a campaign titled ‘La tarde de las Mamografías’ is scheduled for September 4. The initiative offers free mammograms to women aged 40 to 70 who lack social security or medical referrals and have not had a screening in the last 12 months. Services will be available at several provincial hospitals and mobile units, including the Hospital Dr. Guillermo Rawson and Hospital Dr. César Aguilar, with appointments being coordinated via WhatsApp.
