Health congresses address adolescent and youth well-being
The Fifth Congress of Integrated Health Care for Children and Adolescents is being held from October 28 to 30 at the Querétaro Center of Congresses. Organized by the State DIF, the Secretariat of Health, and the Autonomous University of Querétaro (UAQ), the event features workshops and lectures led by medical specialists. The initiative aims to improve physical, emotional, and nutritional care for vulnerable youth through programs such as school breakfasts and mobile dining halls.
Separately, the congress “Health, Development, and Well-being in Adolescence and Youth” is scheduled for November 4 to 6 in Montevideo. Driven by the Confederation of Adolescence and Youth of Ibero-America, Italy, and the Caribbean (CODAJIC), the event will bring together participants from over twenty countries. The program focuses on five key areas: integral health services, mental health, sexual and reproductive health, social inequalities, and the impact of digital screens and substance use on neurodevelopment.
