Health departments release recent food service inspection scores

Recent health inspections conducted by local health departments in Jefferson County and Cobb County have released scores for various food service establishments.

In Jefferson County, the Health Department inspected 33 facilities during the week of August 9. Scores for these establishments ranged from 85 to 100. Notable inspections included a 7-Eleven in Festus which scored 98 despite violations regarding syrup storage, and several Domino’s locations with scores ranging from 88 to 97. Other facilities, such as the Hillsboro Treatment Center, received a score of 97.

In Cobb County, the Georgia Department of Public Health released inspection results for the period of August 14 to August 20. Scores for restaurants, school cafeterias, and hotels varied significantly, with some facilities like Taco Bell and McDonald’s receiving perfect scores of 100, while Hong Kong City received a score of 54.
