Health education pilot program to launch in four Romanian counties

A pilot health education program titled ‘Să creștem generații sănătoase’ (Growing Healthy Generations) is scheduled to take place from September 16 to October 1, 2026. The initiative, launched by Nutribalance, will be implemented in four Romanian counties: Botoșani, Iași, Suceava, and Vaslui.

The program targets students, teachers, parents, and other adults involved in children's lives. It aims to promote balanced lifestyles and healthy behaviors by focusing on nutrition, sufficient sleep, physical activity, daily routine balance, and harmonious affective relationships.

Planned activities include working meetings with school inspectors and directors, training courses for teaching staff on lifestyle education, and multidisciplinary conferences for both teachers and parents. The project is designed as a collaborative, preventive intervention to support child development and learning potential.
