Health experts urge influenza vaccinations and natural immunity measures

Medical professionals in the Nowy Sącz region are encouraging influenza vaccinations as the autumn-winter illness season begins. Local health authorities note that influenza cases in the Nowy Sącz district have remained relatively stable at approximately 4,500 cases per season over the last two years.

Experts emphasize the necessity of annual vaccinations due to the virus's high mutation rate and its ability to transfer genetic material between different strains. While there is currently no epidemic threat, hospital officials report an increase in infectious samples and note that seasonal illnesses are already appearing.

In addition to vaccination, health experts advise focusing on natural immunity through lifestyle habits. Key recommendations include maintaining a regular sleep schedule to support immune gene activity, ensuring adequate exposure to natural light to synchronize biological rhythms, and supporting the body's natural barriers through proper nutrition and movement rather than relying solely on supplements.
