Health Holding Company announces 5,139 medical training seats for 2026
The Health Holding Company has announced the availability of 5,139 medical training seats for the 2026 Saudi Board programs, representing approximately 56% of the 9,245 accredited seats nationwide. This reflects a growth of over 20% in training seats provided by the company's twenty health clusters, nearly doubling the national growth rate.
In collaboration with the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties, the Health Holding Company is streamlining administrative processes for trainees. The company will directly manage and send necessary sponsorship and secondment letters to the Commission, relieving trainees of the responsibility to follow up on these documents. This initiative covers practitioners accepted into health cluster centers, employees accepted into external training entities, and non-employee trainees accepted into cluster centers.
Additionally, the number of secondments and scholarships for health practitioners within the twenty health clusters has increased by more than 30% compared to last year. Training programs are scheduled to commence on October 1, supporting the healthcare sector transformation goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
