Health infrastructure developments in El Campello and Alzira

In El Campello, the expansion of the local health center has stalled for three years despite efforts to address overcrowding and aging facilities. In December 2023, the City Council purchased a 782.90-square-meter property from Sareb for 370,000 euros to facilitate the expansion. Although the site was deemed suitable by the Health Department for new pediatric, nursing, and administrative spaces, the building remains vacant. Current regional health efforts have focused on minor repairs, such as a 140,000-euro tender for waterproofing the existing center's terraces.

Meanwhile, in Alzira, the Health Department has finalized the acquisition of 32,820 square meters of expropriated land to expand the parking area at the Hospital Universitario de La Ribera. This move aims to resolve chronic parking shortages that have long affected both patients and hospital staff. The land will be used for the parking expansion and other complementary infrastructure related to the hospital complex.
