Health initiatives launched in Dubrovnik and Prokuplje

In Dubrovnik, Croatia, free dermatological screenings will be held on Sunday, August 23, at Park Luja Šoletića in Gruž. Part of the dm initiative ‘Zaštiti se… i uživaj na suncu’, the event allows citizens to receive preventive skin examinations via digital dermoscopy from 16:00 to 19:00. Medical professionals, including Hrvoje Brajčić, Josipa Mićunović, Renata Tomašević, and Mislav Mokos, will provide advice on sun protection and skin care.

In Prokuplje, Serbia, Ana Momčilović, acting director of the Health Center, has announced weekly citizen receptions every Monday from 10:00 to 13:00. The goal is to allow direct communication between the public and management to address facility shortcomings or praise. However, opposition councilor Slaviša Momčilović has criticized the move, labeling it a pre-election campaign tactic to gain political support ahead of upcoming parliamentary elections.
