Health innovation and men's health symposiums scheduled in Cuba

The University of Medical Sciences in Guantánamo will host the Health Innovators Fair on October 29. The event features 66 presentations from professionals, researchers, and students aimed at transitioning scientific evidence into practical health solutions. The program includes a Health Innovation Symposium and an exhibition of equipment and devices designed to address local health challenges.

In Sancti Spíritus, the III International Symposium on Men's Health and Non-Communicable Diseases is scheduled to take place from November 1 to 30. Organized by the Cuban Society of Hygiene and Epidemiology and local scientific councils, the symposium focuses on male health, risk factor prevention, and the management of non-communicable diseases. Key topics include hypertension, cardiovascular risk, diabetes, mental health, and the impacts of lifestyle factors such as obesity and tobacco use.
