Health Insurance Organization of Iran announces HiNext innovation event

The Health Insurance Organization of Iran has announced the launch of HiNext, its first major innovation event titled ‘Innovative, Technological, and Experience of Iran Health Insurance’. Scheduled to take place from October 24 to November 30, 2026 (Aban 2 to 8, 1405), the event is organized in collaboration with the Vice Presidency for Science, Technology and Knowledge-Based Economy.

HiNext aims to create a platform for networking and synergy between the basic health insurance system and the national innovation and technology ecosystem. Key participants will include knowledge-based companies, startups, universities, research centers, and idea owners. The event focuses on leveraging modern technologies, particularly artificial intelligence, to address real-world organizational challenges and improve service efficiency.

Specific components of the event include a ‘Reverse Challenge Presentation’ section, where the organization’s actual problems are presented to innovators to find solutions, and the unveiling of the ‘Iran Health Insurance Sandbox’ and an innovation clinic. Additionally, the event will feature an exhibition showcasing successful experiences from health insurance offices across 31 provinces to facilitate knowledge sharing and organizational scaling.
