Health Minister announces new benefits and reforms for staff

Health Minister Dr. Ibrahim Al-Badour has announced several initiatives aimed at supporting Ministry of Health staff and improving working conditions. Speaking during a ‘Day of Change’ event, Al-Badour detailed plans to provide educational scholarships for the children of ministry employees at both private and public universities.

Additionally, the Minister stated that the ministry has contacted relevant authorities to request the allocation of land for health sector employees in the city of Omra. To improve internal communication and address workplace grievances or irregularities, Al-Badour will launch a dedicated WhatsApp number that he will personally monitor to ensure privacy and direct oversight.

Regarding financial incentives, the Minister noted that the ministry is working to stabilize the disbursement schedule. While payments previously faced delays of over a month, recent cycles have reduced delays to 10 days, with the goal of ensuring all incentives are paid on time moving forward.
