Health Minister Azir Aliu Advocates Digital Health at SEEHN Plenary in Skopje

The 49th plenary session of the South‑East European Health Network (SEEHN) was held in Skopje, bringing together representatives from nine member states. Health Minister Azir Aliu opened the meeting, noting that the network has linked the region for a quarter‑century and serves as a platform for sharing experience, building capacity and improving health policies.

Aliu highlighted the session’s focus on digital health innovations, strengthening nursing leadership and enhancing the resilience of health systems to crises. He also announced that a regional conference of health ministers will be organized in September under World Bank patronage to deepen cooperation and exchange best practices across South‑East Europe.
