Health professionals analyze new challenges in adolescent care

Health professionals recently gathered for the third clinical symposium, ‘Adolescencias desalojadas. Tratables e intratables’, to discuss complex intervention strategies for adolescents, particularly those in vulnerable or institutionalized situations. Organized by the General Directorate of Mental Health and Addictions, the event facilitated an exchange of perspectives between psychologists, psychiatrists, and psychoanalysts.

The initiative was supported by the Ministry of Public Health under the administration of Governor Osvaldo Jaldo. During the event, officials noted that the public health system has seen significant growth in human resources, stating that half of the current psychologists in the system joined during the last three years of the current administration to meet increasing population needs.
