Health professionals and communities undergo CPR training in Chile and Argentina
Health authorities and community centers in Chile and Argentina have conducted training sessions focused on cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and emergency response.
In Chile, the Cecosf Rilán community health center organized a theoretical and practical workshop at the Quel Quel Day Center. The initiative aimed to equip residents of the Rilán Peninsula with tools to respond to life-threatening emergencies, such as cardiac arrest, myocardial infarction, and strokes. Participants practiced the Heimlich maneuver and CPR techniques using training mannequins.
In Argentina, the General Directorate of Nursing of the Entre Ríos Ministry of Health held an advanced CPR training session at the Dr. Joseph Lister Hospital in Seguí. The workshop provided 50 doctors and nurses from various locations, including Paraná, Nogoyá, and Diamante, with updated protocols for adult and pediatric advanced CPR, arrhythmia management, and emergency drug administration.
