Health screening events scheduled in Prague and Petrovany

Public health initiatives are scheduled in Prague and Petrovany to provide free medical screenings and consultations.

In Prague, an event will take place on Tuesday, September 29, from 11:00 to 16:00 at the Quadrio shopping center. Medical professionals will offer blood pressure measurements, blood sugar testing, and kidney function checks using rapid tests. Participants can consult with a cardiologist and a nutritional therapist on-site. The event also features educational materials from the Czech Insurance Agency (ČAKO) regarding cardiovascular health.

In Petrovany, a Health Festival is scheduled for October 5, 2026, from 9:00 to 12:00 at the Petrovany Cultural House. Organized by UNION Health Insurance, the program includes breast self-examination guidance, blood pressure and glycemia measurements, and blood group testing. Additional activities include first aid training with the Slovak Red Cross, a lecture on managing stress and anxiety by IPčko, and consultations on dietary supplements and health insurance.
