Health sector recruitment drives underway in Guinea and Côte d'Ivoire

In Guinea, the recruitment process for the National School of Health has commenced in the Kindia region. A total of 1,667 candidates are participating in the exams, which are being conducted digitally via tablets to modernize the recruitment process. These candidates are competing for a portion of 4,500 available positions nationwide aimed at strengthening healthcare human resources, specifically for roles such as nursing assistants, midwives, and laboratory technicians.

In Côte d'Ivoire, 161,917 candidates are awaiting results for the 2026 entrance exam to the National Institute for Training of Health Agents (INFAS). With only 17,000 positions available, the competition is significant, representing approximately one placement for every ten applicants. The candidates are divided into various tracks, including nursing, health auxiliaries, and midwifery. Results are expected to be published online, with some sources indicating a potential release in December 2026.
