Health services in Andalusia conduct safety drills and operational reviews

Health authorities in Andalusia, Spain, have conducted various initiatives to improve healthcare services and worker safety. In the South Health Management Area of Seville, the Valme University Hospital and the Doña Mercedes health center held simulations of aggression against healthcare professionals. These drills, organized by the Occupational Risk Prevention Unit, aimed to test response protocols, coordination between security and medical staff, and the effectiveness of the AUXILIA application used to report incidents.

In Jaén, the territorial delegate for Health and Consumption, Lucía Mónica Pérez Nava, visited the Salud Responde coordination room and the 061 Sanitary Emergency Center. The visit focused on the management of extra-hospital emergencies and the administrative services provided by Salud Responde, such as appointment management, vaccination information, and follow-up care for chronic patients and those in palliative care.
