Health warnings issued over dietary habits and improper hydration risks

Medical reports highlight how specific lifestyle and dietary choices can lead to serious health complications such as stroke and kidney failure, even when individuals believe they are maintaining healthy habits.

In one case, a 58-year-old man in Guangzhou avoided four specific food groups to protect his cardiovascular health: salty pickled foods, trans fats found in processed baked goods, high-sugar foods, and refined carbohydrates. Doctors note that excessive sodium intake from pickled items is a major risk factor for hypertension and stroke.

Conversely, a 55-year-old man in Henan developed severe kidney failure despite a regular exercise routine. Medical experts determined that his habit of drinking strong tea immediately after intense running caused significant harm. The combination of dehydration from sweating and the diuretic effects of caffeine and theanine in concentrated tea forced the kidneys to work under extreme stress without sufficient water for filtration.
