Healthcare AI firms OmicsBank and Faro AI secure significant funding

OmicsBank has secured $2.25 million in seed funding from Redesign Health to expand its clinical data infrastructure. The company aims to connect fragmented hospital data to support drug development and healthcare AI, specifically targeting the underrepresented genomic data from Asia and the Middle East. Its current ecosystem includes data from 12.5 million patients, including EHR data, DICOM images, and genome sequences.

Separately, Faro AI, Inc. announced $37.3 million in Series B financing, co-led by Merck Global Health Innovation Fund and S32. The company focuses on scaling agentic AI to automate complex workflows within clinical development. Faro’s platform, which is currently utilized by six of the world’s ten largest pharmaceutical companies, uses proprietary data models to allow AI agents to reason across scientific, medical, and regulatory processes.
