Healthcare AI firms Prodoc AI and i-PRO announce new developments

Bengaluru-based healthcare AI company Prodoc AI has secured undisclosed seed funding in a round led by the Dr A. Velumani Family Office. The investment also included participation from Dr. Kunal Shet and Parth D. Bhasin. Prodoc AI aims to develop a ‘Patient Journey OS’ that acts as an intelligence layer to connect fragmented hospital systems, such as EMR, billing, and diagnostics, without requiring infrastructure replacement. The company currently operates in over 100 hospitals and processes more than one million patient engagements monthly.

Separately, i-PRO has announced a partnership with Kepler Vision Technologies to enhance patient monitoring through AI-driven applications. The collaboration will integrate the Kepler Night Nurse application onto i-PRO’s GenAI Fisheye Camera. This solution uses edge-AI to detect safety events, such as potential falls or patients attempting to leave a bed, and sends real-time alerts to caregivers. By processing data at the edge, the system aims to support staffing pressures and maintain patient privacy by reducing the need for external cloud infrastructure.
