Healthcare and technology sectors convene at major industry events in Brazil

Major healthcare and technology industry events are taking place in Brazil, focusing on digital transformation and security in the medical sector.

At the Healthcare Innovation Show (HIS) 2026 in São Paulo, the Brazilian Association of Health CIOs (ABCIS) will participate on September 16 and 17. The association aims to address challenges in health technology and management, including artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, data governance, and interoperability. Alex Vieira, CIO of Hcor and president of ABCIS, is scheduled to discuss the evolving strategic role of technology leadership in healthcare.
