Healthcare expansion in Rio Grande do Norte

Healthcare services are expanding in the state of Rio Grande do Norte through new specialized facilities and mobile diagnostic units.

In Mossoró, the OncologyGroup is partnering with Nossa Clínica to inaugurate a new oncology and hematology unit. The facility aims to provide high-complexity treatments, precision medicine, and multidisciplinary care—including oncologists, nurses, psychologists, and nutritionists—to the western region of the state.

In the capital city of Natal, a second mobile unit has arrived to perform CT scans and ultrasounds. Operating alongside a first unit, these mobile trailers will circulate through five sanitary districts and metropolitan areas to address significant waiting lists. The initiative aims to increase capacity to approximately 2,000 CT scans and 2,000 ultrasounds per month to reduce the backlog of pending medical requests.
