Major healthcare and technology developments are emerging across the Asia-Pacific region, focusing on the integration of artificial intelligence and digital transformation in hospital management.

Hospital Management Asia (HMA) 2026 is scheduled to take place in Bangkok from September 2-4. Celebrating its 25th anniversary, the conference will address critical operational challenges such as workforce transformation, patient safety, and the transition from digital investment to measurable clinical outcomes. The event will feature leadership from Thailand’s Ministry of Public Health and the Thailand Private Hospital Association to discuss the future direction of the nation's healthcare sector.

In Singapore, Huawei unveiled four regional AI healthcare solutions during the HIMSS26 Asia-Pacific digital health forum. These solutions, developed with ecosystem partners, aim to accelerate AI adoption in clinical workflows. Key launches include an AI+ Smart Ward Solution for continuous vital-sign monitoring and proactive risk prevention, and an AI+ Pathology Scenario Solution designed to transition from manual microscope-based examination to AI-powered analysis of digitized images for faster, data-driven diagnoses.
