Healthcare innovation summits convene in Brazil

Major healthcare technology and innovation events are taking place in Brazil, focusing on digital transformation and patient safety.

The 12th edition of the Healthcare Innovation Show (HIS) has commenced at the São Paulo Expo. Organized by Informa Markets, the event brings together medical leaders and executives to discuss the practical application of technology in healthcare. Dr. Seong-Kyu Han from Stanford University delivered the opening lecture, emphasizing that healthcare professionals must be directly involved in designing digital tools, such as triage algorithms and ICU automation flows, to ensure technology supports rather than replaces humanized care.

Simultaneously, the fourth edition of Health Meeting Brasil/SINDIHOSPA is scheduled to take place at the FIERGS Event Center. This event expects to host 30,000 attendees and over 300 exhibiting brands. A key component is the 6th International Patient Safety Journey, featuring international experts from the United States and Global Healthcare Accreditation. The program includes various forums focused on clinical research, longevity, and health education, aiming to integrate the entire health cluster through continuous education and business networking.
