Healthcare professionals convene in Oviedo for medical congresses

Oviedo is hosting significant healthcare gatherings focused on primary care and accessibility. The XI Regional Congress of the Society of Family and Community Nursing of Asturias (SEAPA) recently took place, marking the entity's 30th anniversary. During the event, COCEMFE Asturias participated in debates regarding functional diversity and accessibility, emphasizing the need to remove physical, social, and communicative barriers to ensure inclusive healthcare for people with disabilities.

Additionally, the 29th National Congress of the Spanish Society of Primary Care Pharmacists (SEFAP) is scheduled for November 4 to 6 at the Oviedo Congress Palace. The event expects over 500 pharmacists to discuss their evolving role within the 2025-2027 Primary and Community Care Action Plan. The congress aims to address the integration of pharmacists into multidisciplinary health center teams to improve the efficiency, safety, and effectiveness of pharmacological treatments within the National Health System.
