Healthcare professionals hold medical congresses in Naples region

Medical professionals in the Naples region recently participated in two significant healthcare events focused on prevention and specialized care.

During the fifth edition of the Giornate Napoletane della Salute held in Piazza del Plebiscito, the Order of Physiotherapists of Naples, Avellino, Benevento, and Caserta provided public screenings, functional evaluations, and consultations. The event included educational talks on musculoskeletal and cardiorespiratory prevention, as well as pelvic floor health.

In Pozzuoli, the first edition of the “Il cuore a nord di Napoli – Cardionursing” congress was held, organized by the Cardiology and UTIC units of ASL Napoli 2 Nord. The congress focused on the role of nursing in cardiology, emphasizing the importance of continuity of care from emergency response through rehabilitation and discharge to prevent hospital readmissions. Topics included telemedicine, infection prevention in patients with devices, and the management of patients undergoing interventional procedures.
