Healthcare providers in Brazil expand clinic networks

Healthcare providers in Brazil are pursuing expansion and modernization strategies. Viver Saúde is opening its fifth proprietary clinic, Viver Clínica Tirol, in Natal. This move is part of a broader expansion plan to increase the company's local market share, with two additional units expected by the end of 2026 to bring the total to seven.

In Rio de Janeiro, occupational medicine firm BR Med has invested R$ 10 million in a new concept clinic in the city center. The 1,700-square-meter facility features 45 consultation rooms and aims to serve 1,000 people daily. The project, led by co-founder Vander Corteze, seeks to modernize the image of occupational medicine through a lounge-inspired environment. BR Med plans to invest an additional R$ 50 million to remodel its existing units over the coming years.
