Healthcare providers launch cardiovascular prevention and vaccination awareness campaigns

Health professionals in Algeria and France are conducting initiatives focused on cardiovascular disease prevention and public health awareness.

In Algeria, Pharmalliance and Frater-Razes Laboratories organized the ‘Cardio connect’ day, emphasizing multidisciplinary management of hypertension. The event included discussions on various medical topics, such as diabetes, orthopedic damage control, and cancer prevention. Additionally, Frater-Razes Laboratories concluded a vaccination campaign.

In France, the Centre hospitalier de l’agglomération de Nevers (CHAN) hosted a prevention and screening day for cardiovascular diseases at the Pierre-Bérégovoy Hospital. During the event, the Nièvre Departmental Council provided information on the importance of vaccination across all life stages, specifically addressing the rise in vaccine skepticism following the Covid-19 pandemic. The program included workshops on risk factor identification, electrocardiograms, and emergency life-saving gestures.
