Koon’s Town Primary Health Care Clinic opens in Liberia

The Liberian Ministry of Health, in collaboration with international partners, has officially opened the Koon’s Town Primary Health Care Clinic in the Todee District of Montserrado County. The project was supported by the Government of France, the French Development Agency, and Action Against Hunger, with additional involvement from the World Health Organization.

During the dedication ceremony, Health Minister Dr. Louise M. Kpoto expressed gratitude to the development partners for their investment in the national health system. She also noted that the government is currently in the process of procuring 15 ambulances to improve medical transport, with the goal of providing a dedicated ambulance for the new clinic.

French Ambassador Isabelle Le Guellec described the facility as a concrete expression of France’s commitment to strengthening Liberia’s healthcare infrastructure.
