Healthcare technology firms secure new funding rounds
Several healthcare technology companies have secured new funding to expand their digital capabilities.
Blaze.tech, an AI-driven app building platform designed for healthcare, has raised $8.5 million in pre-seed funding. This round includes an initial investment from Friale, a new healthcare-focused venture firm founded by the family behind HCA. Blaze.tech aims to provide healthcare teams with the ability to create HIPAA-compliant, custom software that integrates with existing electronic health records and handles real patient data.
Separately, Serif Health, a provider of healthcare price transparency data, has received a significant minority growth investment from SEVA Growth. This marks the company’s first outside institutional capital. Serif Health uses its Signal platform to clean and standardize massive amounts of healthcare reimbursement data, helping over 250 organizations benchmark rates and analyze market dynamics in response to federal transparency requirements.
