Healthcare training and professional qualification programs expand in Rio Grande do Sul

Educational and professional training initiatives are expanding in the Rio Grande do Sul region, particularly in the healthcare sector.

Escola HCB, linked to the Hospital de Caridade e Beneficência de Cachoeira do Sul, has opened enrollment for several courses. These include technical training in nursing and surgical instrumentation, as well as specialized workshops on complex wounds, palliative care, and neurodivergent care.

In Candelária, Senac Cachoeira do Sul recently certified 19 students in Basic Techniques for Elderly Care. This program was part of the RS Qualificação Recomeçar initiative, a partnership involving the State Government and the Municipal Government of Candelária. The program is part of the broader 'Plano Rio Grande,' which aims to promote professional qualification and economic recovery in the state through investments in human capital.
